Roof Garden – Godalming, Surrey

This penthouse roof terrace was a blank canvas. A contemporary compact space with bare white walls and glass balustrades.

A cedar slatted panel was used to make the space feel more intimate and take the glare off the wall in the heat of the summer.

Bespoke lightweight planters were chosen in soft shades of grey and green. We added a splash of yellow to bring everything to life and to link with the interior design . Layers of Mediterranean planting, including a pair of multi stemmed olives trees worked particularly well with the exposed rooftop setting, as well as giving a holiday feel to the entertaining space.
