Surrey Hills Cottage Garden – Ewhurst

Our client wanted to transform a large feature-less paddock with wonderful Surrey Hills views into a country-style garden that looked like it had been there forever. 

We used re-claimed materials throughout the garden to give it a well-loved feel. 

The Semi-circular lawn area was enclosed by generously planted cottage-style borders. 

Old York stone was re-laid to create a new dining patio, whilst brick and clay pavers were used to make the paths to the house linked by two timber pergolas, planted with roses.

In other areas gravel paths link the lawn area to the new vegetable garden, with Chestnut fencing, raised beds and a timber greenhouse. Espalier Pears have been planted each side of the gate making a wonderful feature.
